Our doctors can assess, treat, and provide advice for many common acute and ongoing health conditions listed on our platform, where clinically appropriate.

NextClinic also offers ongoing treatment plans for selected conditions. Once you have completed an initial assessment and are deemed clinically suitable, our doctors can provide continued care with regular doctor follow-up, repeat prescriptions, and ongoing monitoring through the platform. This allows eligible patients to access streamlined long-term care while maintaining continuity and safety.

Simply submit your request by answering a few questions, which our doctors will review before calling you. You will then receive a call from one of our doctors within one hour. During the consultation, you may receive online medical certificates, eScripts, referrals, or any treatment recommended by the doctor.

If you would like to enrol in one of our treatment plans, simply answer our 5-minute quiz and our doctors will attempt to call you during your chosen time slot. Our treatment plans are flexible—you can choose to receive eScripts and dispense your medication at your preferred pharmacy, or have your medication delivered if convenience is your priority.

NextClinic is a 100% private clinic, and the consultations are not covered by Medicare. However, we keep our prices competitive so that they won't break your wallet for the simple matters that can be addressed easily via online consultations.

Through the general consultations pathway, you can request certificates to cover the previous few days for the same illness you are experiencing at the time of the consultation. Our doctors will assess the situation thoroughly and determine if they can issue a certificate covering the past few days

Unfortunately, you must be in Australia at the time of submitting your request and during the consultation.

Yes, you can. However, for doctors to issue electronic prescriptions, you will need an IHI number. This can be obtained via your MyGov account, as long as you have a valid passport and visa. Please check here for details on how to get your IHI number.
